It was for me a special moment, after so many online meetings, to be in real in Brussels for our final TPM. Near to the European Parliament, it gave me the right European feeling. Also, a special moment, when I realize that our project has reached its end. Two years with cooperation with all partners has given us some real nice results, to be proud on.
However, there were two more reasons why our TPM made a special impression on me.
On one hand, the 24th of March, was not only the date for a BioComp-meeting. Also, NATO, EU and G7 had their meetings. Many world leaders where there. When we walked from our hotel to the Place Luxembourg, we saw so many policemen / policewomen and heard the noise of police cars and helicopters. Some roads were even blocked. Almost scary.
On the other hand: we met each other; we were talking, exchanging out thoughts, we were active in our meetings. Everybody enjoyed this time.
During the lunchbreak and at the end of the afternoon, I saw that all terraces were full with people. Even the little park was used as a meeting place. It felt so good to see this, after two years of lockdowns and restrictions. Back to normal life? I hope so.
